Read-only, by design
One Google permission, admin.directory.user.readonly, lets Workspace Sync list the people in your directory. Nothing is installed in Google Workspace and nothing there can be changed.
Stored in the EU
Your directory is stored in the European Union. Workspace Sync is built and run by a Croatian company under GDPR, with a standard data processing agreement. The Privacy Policy lists every service provider involved. See the service providers
