Install the app

• iPhone: open the App Store and search for Workspace Sync.
• Android: open Google Play and search for Workspace Sync.

Install it, open it, and sign in with your work Google account. There is no separate account to create and no password to remember. Sign in with your work Google account shows the two taps.

Before you install

Your company has to be using Workspace Sync already. If sign-in says your organization isn’t set up, your admin hasn’t connected Google Workspace yet; ask them to finish the setup.

Permissions the app asks for

• Contacts, only when you choose to save people or a group into your phone’s address book. You can decline and share contacts as vCards instead.
• Microphone, only if your company uses Walkie-Talkie and only when you first hold the talk button.
• Notifications, for missed voice messages if Walkie-Talkie is on.

The app never reads your existing contacts and never sends anything from your phone to your company.
