What is Workspace Sync?
Your Google Workspace directory, always current on every employee's phone. What it does, who it's for, and what it costs.
Companies on Google Workspace already have a definitive employee directory in the admin console. That data never reaches the Contacts app on anyone’s phone. People add colleagues by hand, screenshot org charts, ask around for a number, and the information lags for weeks.
Workspace Sync closes that gap. An administrator connects Google Workspace once, using a read-only service account. After that, every employee installs the mobile app, signs in with their work Google account, and sees the current directory: names, photos, phone numbers, job titles and departments, kept up to date automatically.

Who it’s for
Small and mid-sized organizations running Google Workspace, typically from about 10 to 500 people. It fits distributed teams that look each other up constantly, field roles where the phone is the work device, and agencies with frequent role changes.
Large enterprises with their own MDM and identity infrastructure are outside the primary scope.
What it costs
Up to five active users are free, with no time limit. Above that, each additional active user is €1 or US$1.20 per month, billed monthly through Stripe. An active user is a person you have given app access to. Pricing and the free five has the details.
