Moving to the Free plan
Drop to five or fewer active users and the subscription ends at the close of the period you've paid for. No further charge, no action needed.
If your organization has five or fewer active users, it belongs on the free plan, and the move is automatic.
- Your current paid subscription stays active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
- At renewal it ends instead of renewing. There is no further charge.
- From then on your organization runs on the free plan, up to five active users, with no time limit.
The Billing page shows a note with the exact date while the move is scheduled.
Small print
- Paid seat changes you made earlier in the period can still produce a final charge on the last invoice. That is the prorated addition from Add or remove users mid-month, not a new subscription.
- Turn on a sixth active user before the renewal date and the subscription simply continues.
- Cancelling outright works the same way as dropping to five, with one difference: if you cancel while you have more than five active users, the most recently enabled people are switched off down to five when the period ends, until you subscribe again.
